Joe Burrow and Olivia Ponton just set the internet ablaze after their late-night adventure in New York City, fueling months of speculation about their relationship status.
On June 20, the Cincinnati Bengals quarterback, 28, and Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model, 23, were seen leaving a Manhattan apartment building together at around 3 a.m. The pair had spent the evening hopping between celebrity hotspots, with Burrow dressed down in a blue hooded sweatshirt and loose jeans, and Ponton opting for a chic white blouse and black shorts.
This wasn’t just a random meet-up. Burrow was in town for Fanatics Fest, where he made headlines for a less-than-stellar showing in a baseball throwing challenge. But by sunrise, it was his chemistry with Ponton that had social media buzzing, as photos and videos of the duo walking side by side quickly went viral.
The romance rumors aren’t new. Back in December, Ponton was listed as “employed by Mr. Burrow” in a police report after she called authorities to report a burglary at his Ohio home. That incident marked the beginning of public curiosity, but both Burrow and Ponton have mostly kept their personal lives under wraps. When pressed about his private life, Burrow has openly admitted he finds the lack of privacy challenging, telling reporters, “Way more is already out there than I would want out there and that I care to share, so that's all I got to say about that”.
The pair have been spotted together before—most notably at the Miami Grand Prix in May and at Met Gala after-parties—but never as openly as their recent NYC outing. While neither has officially confirmed the relationship, their actions are speaking volumes. As TMZ Sports put it, “Joe Burrow and Olivia Ponton are done keeping their romance under wraps”.
So, while Burrow and Ponton haven’t said the words, their early-morning stroll through Manhattan seems to be all the confirmation fans need. The quarterback and the model are officially the summer’s most-watched duo.
